After three full days, the SPS fair 2025 has come to a close, and one highlight stood out clearly:
the International Manufacturing-X Council (IMXC) Showcase in Hall 8 attracted an exceptional number of visitors – including delegations and experts from Poland, Israel, Korea, Japan, and several other regions.
The IMXC brings together 13 national initiatives with one common mission: enabling secure, sovereign, and interoperable industrial data exchange on a global scale.
To demonstrate this vision, the Showcase presented a connected, multi-country demonstrator featuring:
Edge Data Management & Vertical Integration
Horizontal Data Space Integration for dynamic CO₂ footprint calculation
Federated Trust Services as enabling technology for secure, cross-country data collaboration
Across all three use cases, visitors experienced how industrial data can flow across companies, sectors, and borders with minimal integration effort – powered by interoperable standards and a federated approach.
The strong interest throughout the show underlines how crucial trusted, international data ecosystems have become for the future of manufacturing and industrial AI.
A sincere thank you to ZVEI for hosting the IMXC Showcase and to all contributors and visitors who helped make this international presentation a success.
